Help Wanted: Must Know Green Screen

Have you thought of yourself as an executive lately? Not so easy with county fairs, parades and fundraisers.

Let me challenge you with this thought. You will need to compete to find and acquire talent, especially in Ohio. Statistics tell us that not only is our population graying, but the public sector is graying at a much faster rate (probably due to the public). If you look at your current staff, what is the median age, the years until retirement, is there a bubble coming in the not too distant future where a majority of the current staff can retire?

You are the executive, charged with conveying the office from your predecessor to your successor. Are you preparing for this realization, are you strategically aligning your office to recruit, retain and grow the staff that will be needed once the baby boomers began to retire in droves.

Now come back to Document Management. Does that younger talent want to look at Green Screens, or generate reams of paper that will be bound only to be locked away in the basement of the courthouse. You will need technology in order to entice and automate this pool of talent. The generations emerging in the workforce are expecting automation, they were raised on PC’s, the technology must be put in place not only to sustain this new workforce but in order to secure it.

Time to put away that typewriter before your next interview gets here rocking to an Indie song on her iPhone while texting to her pal who is in the mountains programming for some company in Nashville.
